Providing relevant health care to the people of west Alabama requires DCH to make significant improvements and navigate a dynamic landscape. Annually, DCH undertakes proactive initiatives to better meet the changing demands of our patients, community and region; remaining status-quo is not an option.

Below is one such initiative. Completed in April of 2009, the DCH Cancer Center is home of state-of-the-art technology to assist physicians with vast treatment options tailored to the individual patient. If you or a loved one are stricken with cancer, you can rest assured that the DCH Cancer Center is the place to get the best treatment.

The DCH Health System recently received approval from MD Anderson Cancer Center to become an affiliate hospital. MD Anderson is known all over the world as one of the best cancer treatment centers, and DCH is proud of this affiliation.
